W. Philip Werschler, MD, is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine/Dermatology, University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Werschler has a private practice in medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology in Spokane, Washington, and is the medical director of Werschler Aesthetics, a medical spa. Dr. Werschler is also the owner of Spokane Dermatology Clinic.

Dr. Gary Gleason splits his time between Premier Clinical Research and the Veterans Hospital in Spokane. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and enjoys working with our veterans. Dr. Gleason's association with PCR has allowed him to offer participation in research studies to some of the medically underserved in our community.

Dr. Richard G. Gower is a practicing allergist/immunologist at Marycliff Allergy Specialists in Spokane, Washington. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine and on the staff of Sacred Heart Medical Center and Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane. Currently, he is Immediate Past President of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology, and a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, and the American College of Physicians.

Daniel Coulston, M.D., Principal Investigator

Daniel R. Coulston, MD, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine as well as Critical Care. Dr. Coulston is the Medical Director of Deaconess ICU, Chairman of the Critical Care Committee at Deaconess Hospital, and Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine for University of Washington. Dr. Coulston specializes in HIV medicine and has earned his Specialist Certification with the American Academy of HIV Medicine. Dr. Coulson has conducted clinical research trials for over 30 years and actively participates in HIV research trials.

Scott Schade, M.D., FACOG, Principal Investigator

Scott Schade, M.D., FACOG, Obstetrics/Gynecology, received his undergraduate degree from New College in Sarasota, FL, and his medical degree at the University of Illinois Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He completed his internship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, and belongs to the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Schade has special interests in women's health care and operative gynecology, having previously been a physician at Rockwood Clinic for twenty five years.

David Greeley, M.D., FAAN, Principal Investigator

David Greeley, MD, FAAN, was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and graduated from the University of Washington in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in music theory and history. He then went to the University of Washington School of Medicine, graduating in 1989. Dr. Greeley is a Fellow in the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN) and is also involved in education and training of medical students as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurology at the University of Washington School of Medicine.

Jason Aldred, M.D., FAAN, Principal Investigator

Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Aldred is a board-certified neurologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN). He attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he completed the College Scholars program combining coursework in Ancient Greek, Latin, and Biochemistry. He then went on to attend the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis. He made his way west where he completed neurology residency at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) serving as neurology chief resident. He then completed an additional two-year clinical research fellowship in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders at the Parkinson’s Disease Research, Educational, and Clinical Center (PADRECC), a collaborative program between the Portland VA and OHSU. Through fellowship training he honed skills in botulinum toxin injection techniques, patient selection for deep brain stimulation (DBS) and post-operative DBS programming, and advanced medication management for movement disorders. Dr. Aldred also completed formal training in clinical research through the Human Investigators Program (HIP) at OHSU focused on design and execution of clinical trials. Read full bio



Clinical Research Coordinators

Lina Lebedinski, CCRC

Lina Lebedinski is an experienced Certified Clinical Research Coordinator with accreditation through the organization of ACRP. She is a CCRC that has seven years experience at Premier Clinical Research. She came to the organization with over a year of previous trials experience. Lina speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian fluently. Lina works closely with sponsors and investigators/sub-investigators to ensure that data is completed quickly and accurately.

Christi Witte, CMA, CCRC, Training & Operations Manager, Resident Ninja

Christi discovered her super powers at the young age of 10. Beginning shortly after this discovery, she began pursuing ways to use her powers for good instead of evil. Christi is very skilled at interpretive dance and is also a practicing ninja who protects the staff and patients at Premier Clinical Research.

Kathryn Bland, CCRC

Kathryn Bland has been working in the medical field since starting as a file clerk when she was sixteen years old. Before becoming a clinical research coordinator, she worked as a medical receptionist and medical assistant with experience in pulmonology, rheumatology, internal medicine, and endocrinology practices. Now in her thirteenth year of research, Kathryn has extensive experience in trials with indications as diverse as acne to schizophrenia. She is certified through the Academy of Clinical Research Professionals and is a member of the Society of Clinical Research Associates.

DeAnn Dickinson, CCRC

DeAnn has been with Premier Clinical Research since 2013 and has over 10 years of experience in phase II-IV trials. She has extensive experience in multiple indications of device trials, women's health and cardiology.

Melodie Dowdy, CCRC

Melodie Dowdy has a Bachelors in Health Science and is a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator. Melodie has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical research studies and has been a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator for 17 years. During the last 20 years, Melodie has conducted clinical trials in most therapeutic areas, however, for the last 10 years Melodie has focused much of her attention on HIV research trials.

Mi Miao, CRC

Mi Miao has over 10 years of experiences in both basic scientific and translational research fields. He is interested in promoting bench-based discoveries to clinical therapeutics. He has coordinated multiple clinical trials in internal medicine at Oregon Health and Science University before joining Premier Clinical Research.

Amanda Kiefer, CMA, CRC

Amanda is a Certified Medical Assistant. She graduated from the Medical Assistant program at Carrington College with honors. She has been with Premier Clinical research since June 2014. She has assisted with numerous clinical trials with a wide range of indications, and is currently conducting cosmetic trials.

Rachel R. Smith, CRC

Rachel has been with Premier Clinical Research since May 2016. She came to us with 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical and device related research studies. Rachel has experience in phases II-IV clinical research trials in various areas of medicine including orthopaedics, pediatrics, cancer treatment and diabetes. Rachel is currently conducting dermatological and infectious disease studies. She is affiliated with The Academy of Clinical Research Professionals and a member with the Society of Clinical Research Associates.

Laurie Peterson, CCRC

Laurie joined Premier Clinical Research in June of 2016. She has more than 30 years of experience in the medical field. She worked in orthopedics for 15 years, where she became interested in research. In addition to being a CCRC she is also a Certified Bone Densitometry Technologist and a Registered Medical Assistant. She is currently conducting trials in neurology.

Shawna Brogan, Regulatory Specialist

Shawna maintains the Regulatory Documents for the Investigator Site Files for all studies from start-up to close-out. She works closely with the Director of Research, Investigators, Coordinators, Sponsors, CROs and IRBs to ensure Premier Clinical Research with the highest quality of essential regulatory documentation.

Jessica Nelson, Administrative Assistant

Jessica has been with Premier Clinical Research since 2014. She has a bachelors degree in business administration from Washington State University. Jessica works with our administration team, assisting with day to day duties for research studies and Premier Clinical Research operations.

Tina Bateman, Data Entry

Tina has been with Premier since 2013, she is our dedicated full time data input person. Tina is certified in many major EDC systems and has sponsor authorization for several CRF's.

Isabella Schwietert, Data Entry & Patient Recruitment

Bella has been with Premier for one year and has one year's experience with Data Entry, six months with Recruitment. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in biology from Gonzaga University.

Kay Haskins, Quality Control

Kay has a Bachelors of Science degree from Washington State University. After graduating, she taught high school in Sacramento, California, for eighteen years. During this time, she attended the University of California, Davis, and the University of California, Sacramento, in order to obtain the equivalent of a Master's Degree. She has nearly twenty years experience in pharmaceutical research including seventeen years of clinical monitoring for pharmaceutical companies and Clinical Research Organizations.

Amanda Pitts, MA/P, CLA, Laboratory Coordinator

Amanda joined PCR in 2015. She has over 10 years experience working in a laboratory and is our lab coordinator. Amanda oversees the lab for all of the clinical trials conducted.

Lyuda Lebedinski, Front Desk Administration

Lyuda moved from Russia to the United States in 1996, finished Spokane Community College with an AA degree, and Eastern Washington University with a bachelors in Business Administration and Operation Management. She has experience in customer services for more than 10 years, managed a transportation company for 3 years and has worked for Premier Clinical Research since 2014.

Katie Andriyenko, Front Desk Administration

Katie has been with PCR since March of 2015. She is a full time student at SCC and is employed with us part time. Katie came to Spokane from Russia in 1996. She is a Washington State Certified Medical Interpreter, and has over 5 years of experience in customer service and direct patient care combined.



Research Assistants

Mary Wilber, RMA

Mary started with Premier in November 2015. She has several years experience working with clinical research trials. She specializes in respiratory, allergy and HAE trials.

Wesley Stout

Wesley has been with PCR since December 2015. He has 2 years of Research experience in Diabetes and HIV. He lives in Spokane with his wife and two kids. His hobbies are hiking, fishing and spending time with his family.

Anna Dominguez-Paiz, CMA

Anna is a Medical Assistant/ Research Assistant. She graduated from Carrington College in 2015 with high honors and perfect attendance. When she was still a student, she completed her internship here at Premier Clinical Research. She loved it so much here she returned to work here in March 2016. She is excited to continue her career in research.

Leah Smith, CMA

Leah has worked for Premier Clinical Research since April 2016. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Gonzaga University in 2015 and is a Certified Medical Assistant. For the past 10 years Leah has worked in the Rheumatology field doing clinical research and patient care. Currently at PCR she primarily assists in clinical trials focusing on Dermatology and Rheumatology.

Gareth Olstad, RMA

Gareth has been with Premier since April 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Eastern Washington University in 2015. While at EWU, he participated in scientific research including topics such as neuroscience and metabolism. Gareth has several years of professional medical experience working as a diagnostic laboratory technician and medical assistant.
